Head Coach - Job Summary
The Head Coach leads and coaches fitness classes, supports the studio's operations and success, and develops coaching staff while embodying the brand's values.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach an average of eleven classes per week.
- Serve as the studio's lead coach and role model for other coaches.
- Deliver a best-in-class fitness and customer service experience.
- Meet company utilization and retention goals.
- Assist with day-to-day studio operations as directed by the Area Manager.
- Lead outreach and marketing efforts to scout new clients and build community partnerships.
- Provide coach development including feedback and support for new coach trainings.
- Respond to client requests and address concerns promptly.
- Maintain product knowledge of studio retail operations.
- Perform operational tasks such as ordering supplies, inventory, and sales logs.
- Ensure the studio and equipment are clean and fully functional.
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Flexible and variable availability including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 30 pounds.
- Proficiency in G-Suite and MS Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets.
- Optimism and passion for health, fitness, and the [solidcore] workout.
- Passion for helping others achieve fitness goals and developing teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, people-focused, entrepreneurial environment.
- 1-2 years of prior group fitness experience.
- Outgoing and personable with relationship-building skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Comfortable leading fast-paced classes with loud music and energetic atmosphere.
- Strong client relations and communication skills.
- Reliable and professional demeanor.
