Community Manager - Job Summary
The role involves building and managing a trusted crypto algo trading community by engaging with users across online forums and events, creating content, and providing product feedback to help traders deploy and build on Delta Exchange.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and engage the online community forums including structuring, rituals, moderation, and daily interactions.
- Respond promptly to user questions, unblock traders, escalate bugs, and address API-related issues.
- Identify and nurture power users and strategy builders through ambassador and early-access programs.
- Plan and execute online and offline events such as meetups, hackathons, strategy competitions, AMAs, and workshops.
- Create educational content such as getting-started guides, API tutorials, strategy walkthroughs, and backtesting explainers.
- Maintain and update useful documentation, sample code, and cookbooks for strategies.
- Collect and prioritize community feedback for product improvements.
- Monitor global trends in algo trading tools and technologies and relay insights to users and the product team.
- Define and track community performance metrics like active builders, deployed strategies, resolution time, and retention of new traders.
Requirements
- 1–3 years experience in community management, developer relations, growth, content, or trader-facing roles; exceptional candidates with deep algo trading knowledge may be considered.
- Strong understanding of algo trading concepts such as backtesting, slippage, and webhooks.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to conduct numerous conversations with traders.
- Awareness of the algo trading landscape both in India and globally.
- Proficiency in technical content including API documentation, sample code, and strategy explanation.
- Self-starter with strong ownership, able to handle ambiguity and travel for events.
