Community Engagement Lead - Job Summary
The Community Engagement Lead will engage and inform local communities about Kooth's services, building relationships with youth, families, educators, and community leaders through digital and in-person outreach to drive awareness and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the Kooth brand by building meaningful connections with community leaders, educators, families, and young people.
- Present services in engaging ways both in-person and online via community events, workshops, and digital channels.
- Plan and execute outreach initiatives tailored to local community needs while aligning with brand and marketing goals.
- Collaborate with Field Managers and Marketing teams to provide feedback and improve outreach strategies.
- Work with Partnership teams to support system-level integration efforts.
- Utilize social media to create and share content that enhances local audience engagement and awareness.
- Assist in organizing and promoting local events such as webinars and community meetings.
- Gather feedback from community members to inform and improve outreach efforts.
Requirements
- 4 or more years experience in community outreach, youth engagement, or a related field.
- Strong presentation skills with comfort speaking to diverse audiences including youth, parents, and educators.
- Proven use of digital communication and social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn for outreach.
- Ability to drive and travel regularly by car to attend and host community events.
- Preferred: experience working in educational settings or with community organizations.
- Preferred: knowledge of mental health services, youth engagement, or digital health initiatives.
- Preferred: familiarity with the 13-25 age demographic and youth-relevant issues.
- Preferred: bilingual or multilingual skills.
