Community Manager - Job Summary
The role involves managing community interactions across social media platforms for gaming clients, fostering positive community environments, and assisting developers with player feedback in a fully remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Review incoming community interactions and communicate with players.
- Respond to comments and player queries promptly.
- Create engaging social media content.
- Build reports on community growth and engagement and propose improvements.
- Assist developers by collating and reporting player feedback.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming environment for the game community.
- Moderate discussions and comments according to guidelines.
- Suggest new ways to grow and care for the community.
- Create and update community-related documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional community management or social media experience in gaming.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Bilingualism in English and French, Spanish, or German is a plus.
- Passion for video games and social media.
- Strong understanding of social media/community platforms (Discord, Twitch, Reddit, Instagram, Facebook).
- Expertise in social listening and social management best practices.
- Experience managing or moderating a thriving gaming community.
- Higher education in marketing, business administration, communication, adult education, or related fields.
